Bucksport Police and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency are investigating a meth-making operation from a Central Street home. It’s the third time drug agents have investigated a meth lab from the same residence. So far, no arrests have been made.

Early voting is going on this week for Bangor’s municipal election. Anyone wishing to vote early, can stop by the Cross Insurance Center today through Thursday, between 8 and 6.

A Hermon car dealership is giving back by offering a free fire truck to a local fire department...they just haven’t decided which one will get it. From November 1st to the 10th, Economy Motors is inviting local departments to send an email, on their station letterhead, explaining why they could use it. Then they’ll post the list on Facebook and let the communities vote, to see who gets it.

A Scarborough 4th grader, who posed for his class picture in a hot dog suit, got a big surprise this week from Oscar Meyer. The Oscar Meyer Weinermobile stopped  Monday afternoon, and gave Jake Arsenault and his friends a ride to Smitty’s, where they saw the Addams Family movie. They also gave him an Honorary Hotdogger Dujour certificate and nicknamed him Jumbo Frank Jake.
