Bucksport Police Bust Third Meth Lab at Central Street Residence
Bucksport Police say they've busted another meth lab at the same address as two previous operations.
Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says Bucksport Police and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency's Downeast Task Force searched a residence at 396 Central Street on Sunday afternoon, after police found suspicious items in a shed at the home. Officials say three reaction vessels and other evidence of a methamphetamine-making operation were recovered. This is the third time in the past year that drug agents have seized meth-making materials from the same address.
No one has been arrested, but the investigation is ongoing, aided by the Bucksport Fire Department and the Department of Environmental Protection.
