Bangor, Maine Police Arrest a Transient for Several Car Burglaries

Police have arrested a man in connection to several car burglaries in Bangor.

Kevin Pullen, 36, a transient, is charged with:

• Burglary to a motor vehicle, 8 counts
• Theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 7 counts.

He's suspected of burglarizing multiple vehicles in the city.

Bangor Police Investigation into Multiple Vehicle Burglaries Leads to a Single Suspect

Police were alerted to Pullen after Officer Nathaniel Alvarado was dispatched to Norway Road on Sunday morning for a report of a vehicle burglary.

An investigation led the police to identify Kevin Pullen as the suspect in this and seven other vehicle burglaries on Carver Street and Buck Street.

When the police caught up to Pullen, they recovered several bank cards and cash from multiple victims who had also reported that their vehicles had been broken into.

Bangor, Maine Police Add Charges to Vehicle Burglary Suspect

Just after 7:30 pm Officer Michael Blakely received a late report of a motor vehicle burglary and Carver Street.

When he viewed video footage, the officer determined the suspect was Pullen and added charges.

Residents are encouraged to keep their vehicle and house doors locked at all times, even when they're home.

Valuables should be removed from vehicles when they're left in driveways and parking lots.
