An Orrington man was injured last night when he jumped from the second story of his burning home but his injuries did not warrant a trip to the hospital. The fire on Snow's Corner Road was called in at 10:30 last night. Investigators will now work to determine how the fire started.

Acadia National Park officials are asking for help from the public finding a man whose been missing since early Monday morning. 45-year-old Adam Emmett, who goes by AJ, was last seen near schooner Head Overlook. Anyone who sees him is asked to call the warden service.

Lawmakers are considering a bill that supporters say would allow terminally ill patients to die with dignity. The bill would allow adults with six months left to live to ask for a fatal dose of prescription drugs. The bill’s process includes two waiting periods, a second opinion, and written and oral requests.

The former Madison paper mill has a new owner, and will be used to produce wood fiber insulation. Go Lab Inc. officials say the mill will employ more than 100 people once its up and running. They hope to be ready to move in by August or September.

A motivational movie being presented at the Brewer Performing Arts Center next week will feature the story of Chris Bombardier, a hemophiliac who overcame his physical challenges to climb Mt Everest. Chris will be at the screening at the Brewer Community School facility, from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 17th.
