Drivers headed south on I-95 in Hampden this morning will find traffic slowed by a tractor-trailer rollover.
Tractor-Trailer Crash in Hampden Under Investigation by Maine State Police
Maine State Police have identified the driver as Mark Pearson, 59, of Raefod, North Carolina.
Pearson was alone in the rig when it crashed and received minor injuries.
Maine State Police Say Fatigue Caused a Tractor-Trailer Crash on I-95 in Hampden
The crash was reported at about 3:27 am on Thursday, September 17, near mile marker 178 in Hampden, on the southbound side of the interstate.
When the Troopers arrived, they found a tractor-trailer overturned on the shoulder.

An initial investigation indicates Pearson fell asleep while driving, causing him to leave the roadway and overturn.
Maine State Police remind people to get adequate sleep before driving, and to pull over for a nap if they're feeling fatigued.
Southbound Traffic on I-95 in Hampden, Maine Affected by a Tractor-Trailer Crash
The tractor-trailer remains on the side of the interstate and will be removed at some point on Thursday by Bouchard's Towing.
While it's still there, one southbound lane will remain closed, with only the passing lane open.
Drivers are advised to anticipate the traffic change and slow down as they approach the Hampden area on the southbound side of I-95.
