The amazing crew at Northern Light Health rock! This will be the coolest thing you see all day.

If you have yet to be vaccinated for COVID-19, the folks at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, came up with a cool way to inspire you to get the jab.

Two nurses, a doctor, a pharmacist, and a Chief Strategy Officer, were inspired by Dr. Nirav Shah, and the Maine CDC, to take to the roof of Northern Light, to make a music video for the Pat Benatar classic tune, "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" But it wasn't just them, some very well known Mainers joined in on the fun.

There are cameo appearances from Governor Janet Mills, Senator Susan Collins, Dr. Shah, our friend Dan Cashman and his Nite Show co-host, Christie Robinson, the Husson University and Portland Sea Dogs mascots, and even the Paul Bunyan statue.

Best of all, this supergroup of talented Northern Light employees call themselves "The Variants". Kudos to these people who are out there in the trenches every day battling this pandemic.

The Variants are:

Alison Bagley, RN-Vocals
Night House Manager
Northern Light EMMC

Pret Bjorn, RN-Guitar

Brian McCullough, Guitar

This cool video is making a difference because it has racked up almost 17,000 views in just a few days. A fantastic job from some very inspirational people.

Take their advice and get vaccinated!
