Forecasters are predicting highs in the upper 90s in Bangor, Maine, on Tuesday, which would set a new record for June 24 in The Queen City. According to the National Weather Service, a high of 97 is expected on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for much of Maine, including Bangor. The warning will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24.

Bangor's annual Summer Sidewalk Art Festival will return on Saturday, July 5, 2025, with over 100 Maine-based artists and vendors. The Downtown Bangor Partnership says the festival will also include live music and plenty of food and drink options.
