The calendar may say October, but it looked like November on top of Sunday River this morning, with the first snowfall of the season.

You can see in the video that the snow was heavy and wet enough to cover the ground. However, I checked the live cams just before 9:00, and the ground was bare, so it didn't stick around. Still, I'm not sure any of us are ready to see the snow. Anyone who loves to ski is probably excited, because the early white stuff hints at a great season. Time for those people to check their gear and make sure they're ready.

As for me, I'm still hoping Mother Nature hears my plea to give us a little more autumn weather before she sends the snow again.
