Suspicious Death Under Investigation In Bangor

Bangor police are calling the death of a man on Second Street "suspicious."

The Bangor Fire Department responded to an apartment at 40 Second Street Wednesday at approximately 9:44 a.m. for "an injured person," the Bangor Police Department said Wednesday afternoon in a news release.

Firefighters found a deceased male inside the apartment.

Police remained at the scene Wednesday afternoon, as officers were in the "preliminary stages of a suspicious death investigation."
