One of Kacey Musgraves' Canceled Shows Was Set for New England

The “Dry Spell” singer recently and unexpectedly canceled a handful of dates on her upcoming tour, including one scheduled in our region.

Kacey Musgraves has canceled three dates on her upcoming ‘Middle of Nowhere Tour,’ including the scheduled opening night on August 20th at the United Center in Chicago.

The August 29th show at TD Garden in Boston and the September 2nd concert at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, were also canceled, with fans reportedly notified by Ticketmaster.

According to a screenshot shared on Reddit, all tickets will be automatically refunded through the original point of purchase, with processing expected to take seven to 10 business days.

No reason has been given for the cancellations, and Musgraves has not publicly addressed the changes on her official social media accounts.

The tour supports Musgraves’ latest album, “Middle of Nowhere,” which was released May 1st.

Tickets remain available for alternate shows in Chicago, Boston, and New York, and the tour is still scheduled to begin August 21st in Chicago.
