Police Search For Suspect In Milford Armed Robbery

Police are searching for a man who reportedly displayed a handgun and robbed the County Road Store in Milford.

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office responded to the report of a robbery at the County Road Store at 81 County Rd. in Milford just after 2 p.m. on Sunday. Deputies learned that a male subject entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded cash.

The suspect fled the store on foot towards the Henderson Lane subdivision with an undetermined amount of cash, according to a news release. None of the store clerks on duty in the store at the time were injured.

Anyone with information or anyone who saw a male subject coming from behind the store and walking through the Henderson Lane subdivision wearing sweatpants is asked to call the sheriff's office at 945-4636.
