
A Man’s Body Has Been Recovered From Maine’s Casco Bay
The Maine Marine Patrol has recovered a body from the waters of Casco Bay.
How Was the Body Found?
A recreational fisherman notified authorities when they discovered the body. Maine Marine Patrol was notified by the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office and the remains were recovered from Casco Bay at approximately 10:30 Friday morning.
Where Was the Person Located?
The body was found in the water approximately 100 yards from the end of Indian Point Road on Chebeague Island.

Have Police Released the Person's Identity?
Officials say the deceased male was transported to a local funeral home and then transferred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for an autopsy. Once the body has been identified and the person's next of kin notified, their name will be released.
