I couldn't believe this when I read it this morning! A Philadelphia developer got tired of all the debris on the vacant lot next to his business, so he decided to clean it up. And the city may sue him!

Ori Feibush had tried calling city hall, writing letters, and even going down in person to get the city to take care of it, to no avail. So he spent about twenty thousand dollars of his OWN money and beautified it. He leveled the lot, put in trees and benches, and even paved the sidewalk. And the city says it may take legal action!

Now, I understand that there are laws about what you can do to public property. But, really.....he made that little corner of the city a prettier place! Anyway...just my opinion. Oh...and the irony of this situation? Feibush received a citation from the city in 2011 for debris on the lot that the city is now quick to point out does not belong to him.
