Mainer Advances To ‘American Ninja Warrior’ City Finals

Jesse "Flex" Labreck, an Oakland native and former UMaine track and field star, shined in the “American Ninja Warrior” Cleveland qualifiers, which aired Monday night, and advanced to the city finals.

Labreck, 27, graduated from Messalonskee High School in 2008, and is a 2013 graduate of the University of Maine, where she set at least 11 school records.

Labreck now lives in Pennsylvania, but plans to move to Illinois after accepting a position as the general manager of a new gym.

The 2017 Cleveland city finals will air Aug. 21 on NBC.
