Crew Member Dies In Fall From Fishing Boat

A fisherman died after falling from a boat off the coast of Jonesport.

According to the BDN, the man was a member of the crew for the fishing vessel 'Melinda Ann.' He fell overboard while fishing near Englishman Bay on Saturday. There's no word on what caused him to fall.

The man was unresponsive when he was pulled from the water and multiple efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. So far, the man's identity has not been released.
