Authorities were able to connect with McAllian and convince him to come out of the building through the same window he had used to enter it.

Once they had the suspect in custody, he was searched, but no sign of a bomb was found. McAllian then told the police where the device was located inside the building.

An officer went into the Penquis building, found the device where McAllian had said it was, and then exited the building.
