A Eustis woman is accused of threatening a dog walker with a BB gun over some bird food.

According to the Portland Press Herald, Franklin County deputies responded Tuesday to a report of a gun being brandished in the town of Eustis. Deputies discovered that a woman had displayed what turned out to be a BB gun after becoming upset with a man who allegedly allowed his dog to get into some bird food that had been thrown on the ground. She had tossed the food on the ground to feed the crows.

65-year-old Marcia Higgins was arrested and charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon. She was taken to the Franklin County Jail, and then released on $300 cash bail.
