Stunning Waterfront Home in Searsport has a Chef’s Dream Kitchen

A waterfront home in Searsport has many amazing amenities, including incredible views and a guest house, but it's the kitchen that dropped my jaw.

Looking at houses online is a hobby of mine. I love looking at local houses for sale, but also waterfront properties. I guess living close to the water is a dream of mine and Maine is filled with beautiful waterfront dwellings. As I was browsing through the website, yesterday, I came across this property on West Ocean Drive in Searsport. The pictures show sweeping porches, elegant living spaces, and bathrooms fit for a king or queen.

Often, when I look at properties like this, I'm disappointed in the kitchen. Not that I'm a gourmet, but a small kitchen is a letdown when you're talking about a multi-million dollar house. This $3.35 million mansion did not disappoint, however, The kitchen is unbelievable. The appliances are state-of-the-art, and the cabinets are sleek and plentiful. Granite (I'm assuming) countertops are lined with padded bar chairs. Then there's the dining table that seats 10. It's all done in warm, dark wood (cherry?) with gold fixtures. I just keep coming back to the word 'elegant.'

Of course, the rest of the house is equally lovely, especially the second floor bedroom with lots of windows and sweeping ocean views. There's even a guest house that's so adorable, I'd be happy to live there. (but forever envious of the people in the big house)

The house is currently listed on Realtor.com by Michael Greeley of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Northeast Real Estate, who asks that people not drive down the long driveway to the residence, as it's currently being rented. Instead, check out the pictures here. I know you'll fall in love.
