State Police Share Pictures Of Tuesday Accidents [PHOTOS]

It's been a bad week for traveling in Maine, with lots of slides off the road and into other vehicles.

On the Maine Turnpike near Kennebunk at Mile marker 23 north...tractor trailer hit a turnpike plow. No injuries. Road is open.

State Police have shared some of the photos on their Twitter account. No one was seriously hurt in these accidents, but they're good reminders to use caution when the weather gets bad. Slow down and give plenty of room between you and the car in front of you. And during really bad weather, like we've had over the past few days, it's best to stay home, if you possibly can.

#TrafficAlert At Mile marker 22 Southbound on the Maine Turnpike in Kennebunk tractor trailer jackknifed right side of road. There are no injuries and they're working on Towing it out.

If you have to head out today, take a fully charged cell phone, the number to your road service provider or a tow truck company, and the local police. In addition, it's a good idea to have some bottled water, snacks, and extra pairs of dry socks and gloves  in case you go off the road and are stuck there for a while.

These were taken yesterday, March 13, 2018. The first was a car that collided with a DOT plow truck on I-95, South Bound, approximately MM 146 (near the Pittsfield exit). Second and third are on 95 near mile-marker 204 north-bound and the current road conditions. No injury or damage. Snow is expected to continue today. Stay home unless you must go out and if you must go out, slow down and allow plenty of time for travel. Current road condition are WHITE OUT with low visibility and they will continue to get worse before they get better. Reminder – please move over for your first responders and tow trucks if it is safe to do so, and reduce your speed if you cannot move over.
