State Police Seek Violent York County Felon [UPDATE]
State Police have been looking for a man they describe as being a possibly violent felon, who may have been traveling with his girlfriend and their 2-year-old child.
UPDATE: State Police say Cole turned himself into authorities this morning at the Buxton Police Department.
The Maine Department of Health and Human Services Office of Child and Family Services alerted authorities on May 6th after representatives went to the home of Vincent Cole and Natasha West for a family safety assessment and were unable to locate the couple. They haven't been seen at their Hollis residence since.
Cole is a felon with a violent history, who currently has two active warrants for violations of conditions of release. Police say he may have a firearm that he allegedly used to threaten someone and is currently out on bail for aggravated assault. Cole is described as 5' 9" tall, about 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. West is 5'8" tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes.
Officials say the couple's 2-year-old child may be with them and they may be driving a gray 2007 Chevy Malibu with Maine Agriculture Plates, 557ANW.
