Maine Man Arrested After a Shooting at a Bakery in Waterville
Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting at a Waterville bakery outlet store.
Where Did the Shooting Happen?
The incident happened just after 3:30 on Wednesday afternoon at the Country Kitchen Bakery Outlet on Kennedy Memorial Drive. Police responded to a report of gunshots during an altercation. WGME-TV reports a male victim drove himself to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Who Was Arrested?
Waterville Police say Christopher McKenna, 25 of Winslow, has been arrested in connection with the incident. He's been charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon.
What Prompted the Shooting?
So far, police have not commented on what sparked the altercation. The investigation is ongoing. At the last report, McKenna remained at the Kennbec County Jail, unable to pay his $500 bail.
