A woman faces charges after police say she tried to spend two fake $100 bills at a Bangor convenience store.

Tiffany Voisine, 36, is charged with forgery, according to WABI.

Voisine appeared in court on Tuesday. She was arrested after she allegedly tried to use the phony bills at Leadbetter's on Hammond Street in Bangor on March 28, according to the report.

The arrest came after a report of fake $50 and $100 bills circulating around Bangor.
