Power Outages Affecting More Than 3,500 Customers In Many Towns
Over 3500 Mainers are without power this morning, with the bulk of the outages in Orrington.
UPDATE: The Orrington/Brewer area outages were caused by a squirrel disrupting equipment at a substation, according to Emera Maine. In the Corinth area, crews are working to restore downed lines on Route 46.
Emera Maine is investigating the cause of 3,579 outages that are also affecting customers in Eddington, Bucksport, Brewer, Corinna, Corinth, Deer Isle, Exeter. Holden, and Lincoln. Utility workers are investigating the cause of the outages and hope to have power on before 11.
