Portland Police Identify Shooting Victim
Portland Police have released the identity of a man who was shot and killed early Saturday morning.
According to the Portland Police Twitter account, the shooting happened at around 1:45 Saturday morning at 107 Milton Street. Officials say 22-year-old Isahak Muse was shot during an altercation at the residence and died at the scene from his injuries. There's no danger to the public. No arrests have been made. Investigators are now working to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting. An autopsy will be done to determine the cause and manner of death.
Police say this shooting is not connected to a report of shots fired on Sherman Street. Officials responded to the report at 3:27 a.m. Police say gunshots could be heard as officers arrived on the scene. No one was hurt in the incident. 25-year-old Marcus Scott was arrested in Lewiston Saturday afternoon and charged with reckless conduct with a firearm.
