Police Search For Missing Dover-Foxcroft Man [UPDATE]

UPDATE - Police say John Ferguson has been found and is safe.

There are no details about where Ferguson had been, but police said in a post on the Department's Facebook page that he's doing well. Ferguson had been missing since at least Saturday. Officers went to his home on Larrabbee Farm Road for a medical emergency and didn't find him. They said his vehicle was snowed in and there was a set of footprints into the home and one leading out. Because of that, they believed that he may have been picked up at the road. Investigators checked with local taxi companies but none recall making a pickup at Ferguson's house.

Police say John suffers from dementia and has a recent history of losing his way.
