Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle On Hammond Street

Bangor police are investigating an accident over the weekend that involved a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on Hammond Street.

The accident happened just before 9 p.m. Saturday. Police say the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while near the area where Hammond Street intersects with Odlin Road.

The names of those involved have not been release but WVII-TV reports the victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition. Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
