Operation Reboot Outdoors is a Maine organization that is committed to bridging the gap between military life and the transition back to civilian life. Dan Waite says he found his way out of the darkness and made it through the battle fields in the Middle East and has found a new mission here at home in Maine. Call it a new battle.

Like a lot of Mainers, Dan loves being outdoors. He says “My favorite therapy is found in the wilderness and on the water”. Dan and his Operation Reboot Outdoors Veteran Organization offers hunting and fishing trips to Veterans at no cost.

We introduced Dan to those who don’t know him earlier this year.

Now it’s our pleasure to promote ORO’s First Annual Welcome Home Ice Fishing Derby, Saturday March 20th from 7a.m until 3 p.m. at Ellis Pond in Roxbury.
