
Maine Police Arrest 3 from New Gloucester for Drug Trafficking
Three New Gloucester residents are facing drug charges after the search of two Maine residences.
Maine Police Charge 3 After Drug Busts in New Gloucester and Lewiston
A months-long investigation into drug trafficking led to the arrest of three suspects, all from New Gloucester.
They are Siyad Abdi, 45; Abdurahim Ibrahim, 41; and Kayla Labonte, 37.
Abdi was arrested during the execution of a search warrant at 1351 Lewiston Road in New Gloucester.

Ibrahim and Labonte were taken into custody after the search of a home at 88 Bartlett Street in Lewiston. Both searches happened on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
New Gloucester, Maine Residents Face Multiple Drug-Related Charges
Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesperson Shannon Moss says the three suspects face multiple charges.
- Siyad Abdi is charged with trafficking and unlawful possession. Abdi also had outstanding warrants.
- Abdurahim Ibrahim was arrested on an outstanding warrant stemming from this investigation. He's also charged with three counts of unlawful trafficking, one count of felony possession, and violation of conditions of release.
- Kayla Labonte is charged with trafficking and unlawful possession.
Abdi was taken to the Cumberland County Jail, where his bail was set at $15,000.

Officials say Ibrahim was transported ot the Androscoggin County Jail, where he's being held without bail.
Labonte's bail was set at $10,000.
