Motorcyclist Crashes Into Truck In Lincoln

A motorcyclist was seriously injured when his bike struck the back of a truck on the Lee Road.

WABI-TV reports the accident happened Tuesday afternoon. The driver of the motorcycle crashed into the back of a truck that was stopped and waiting to make a turn. The biker, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to Penobscot Valley Hospital and then transported by LifeFlight helicopter to Eastern Maine Medical Center.

The road was closed for several hours while reconstruction crews investigated the crash.
