A domestic disturbance call in Dayton ended with a mother and son both being arrested.

State Police Troopers were called to a home on the Dyer Road Wednesday and learned that 26-year-old Brian King of Dayton had kicked in the door to the bathroom and allegedly choked his girlfriend. The victim told police that he threatened to kill her and assaulted her mother. Before police arrived, however, the suspect had fled.

While Troopers were talking to the people at the residence, King was spotted running across the street and into a barn. Police surrounded the barn and tried to talk the man into giving himself up, but he refused to come out of the building. At this point, the man's mother showed up and attempted to go into the barn. Police warned 56-year-old Sandra King to leave, but she refused to comply. As a result, she was arrested for Hindering Apprehension.

Police then entered the barn with a K-9 and found King hiding under some hay. He was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault, Assault, and on an outstanding warrant. Both mother and son were taken to the York County Jail, where Mr. King is being held without bail, and his mother's bail was set at $100.
