Maine’s Most Expensive Airbnb This Summer in Bar Harbor
If your monthly mortgage payment is $844 or less, this weekend rental will cost you more than you pay for your house…for a year.
Nothing like scrolling through Airbnb listings and looking at the luxury that we can’t afford.
So why not go for the most expensive Airbnb rental. Joybird did the research for the entire country.
They scrolled through Airbnb, picking a 3-day weekend in July 2022, and came up with the most luxurious, glamorous (read expensive) listing in every state.
California is the most expensive, Alaska came in second, and Massachusetts third.
Let’s get right to Maine.
For a total cost of $10,128 for a 3-night stay, 14 guests can stay in a villa in Bar Harbor.
The Top 3 rentals in the country cost that much for each of the three nights.
Meet The Mighty Oaks modern house in Bar Harbor.
It's 10 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor and only 7 minutes away from Acadia’s entrance.
It is a 3,600 square foot, 3-level home, fully renovated with all new furniture. The home is the last house on a dead-end driveway, tucked away in the woods. Remote. Private. And peaceful.
5 bedrooms
Okay, you've got your bedroom picked out for the weekend.
Now which one to use when you got to go?
2 decks,
Of course, there's a hot tub.
And food off the grill.
There are two office spaces, in case you can't completely get away for a 3-day weekend.
Plus, there's an entertainment room in the cellar/basement (I was taught to call it the lower level in places like this) How about those 8 full-body recliners? Imagine how great that nap will feel in front of the 82" TV.
Pool anyone?
Or table tennis?
The room most of us end up in, no matter the house. The kitchen.
We've been all over this home together, and while we were looking someone else booked our weekend.
