Maine Woman Allegedly Sold Meth Brought to the State from California

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Maine, co-conspirator Alex Hanna arranged with a California-based source of supply, co-conspirator Codee Houston, to obtain and ship pounds of meth to Hancock County.

Garniss and others in the Ellsworth area distributed the drug and returned the proceeds to Hanna.

She's charged with money laundering because she wired some of the funds to Garniss, after being told by Hanna to do so.

Codee Houston was sentenced in October 2025 to 14 years in prison and five years of supervised release.

Alex Hanna was sentenced in March 2025 to 11 1/2 years in prison and five years of supervised release.
