According to the Waterville Sunrise Rotary, Hannon is in critical care, with burns to 45% of his body.
Investigators with the State Fire Marshal's Office say the cause of the explosion was likely a propane leak. They're looking into propane-powered appliances, since it doesn't appear to have been an issue with the main propane tanks.
The house was destroyed, and neighboring houses sustained some damage, as well.
