Maine Witch Walk and Goblin Market Return to Bangor Waterfront
You don't have to actually be a witch to don the garb, grab a broom, and join the dance on the Bangor Waterfront.
Maine Witch Walk Returns to Bangor This Year
I've loved this event since I first saw it in 2019. It's a joyful celebration of the season that I couldn't resist filming.
On Saturday, October 17th, people of all ages are invited to join the walk and then the dance.

It takes place on the Bangor Waterfront, and it's all for fun.
Bangor, Maine Waterfront Will Have Witches, Vendors, and Shoppers on October 17, 2026
You don't have to wear a whole witch's costume. If you want to dress up in your favorite black clothes with a pointy hat, that works too.
If you're nervous about the dance itself, organizers have provided an instructional video on the Maine Witch Walk website to show you how it's done.
Organizers have added a Goblin Market, with something for everyone.
Unique vendors will have a variety of goods for sale, plus drum circles, music, and more.
Sign Up for the Maine Witch Walk on the Event's Website
Even if you don't plan to join the one-mile walk around Bangor or the Witch Dance, plan to spend some time enjoying the waterfront and doing some shopping.
Organizers ask that you RSVP if you plan to take part in the walk and/or dance.
The event's website references tickets, but that's just a way to let them know you're coming.
If you can donate to support the event, that's awesome, but there's no fee for taking part.
