Bangor City Forest Charity Walk Named for Maine Student's Grandmother
The walk is named for Tina Gallant, whose granddaughter is a member of the Hermon Key Club.
Aubrey Searway suggested the walk in 2022 while Tina was in the midst of her battle with breast cancer.

Tina was unable to complete the walk that year and, unfortunately, passed away in 2024.
Last year, Hermon Senior Abby Dubois suggested they name the walk after Aubrey's grandmother.
Breast Cancer Walk Through Bangor, Maine Forest and Charity Bake Sale
I met Tina many times through mutual friends, and I always found her to be smart, funny, and full of life.
There's no registration fee, but donations by check or cash are welcome.
Make checks payable to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
There will even be a bake sale so folks can pick up some goodies for the ride home.
