Maine Craft Weekend Coming Up Saturday (7th) & Sunday (8th)
Maine Craft weekend and Craft Beer too.
There are 6 cities hosting the Annual Maine Craft Weekend on Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th. Some cities have events beginning Thursday and Friday too.
Belfast is one of the featured cities.
The beer part of the event in Belfast is at Marshall Wharf Brewing. It’s their 4th annual Beer Bash and is a ticketed event with live music all day while you enjoy craft beer made locally.
The other craft events are all over Belfast and include pottery demonstrations, weaving, fiber dying and glass bead making.
Also Knitting demonstrations, stained glass and torchwork demonstrations too.
All at local shops like Belfast Clay Studio, Belfast Fiberrts, Fiddlehead Artisan Supply, Heavenly Yarns, Mainely Gallery and Studio and others.
It’s Belfast, so remember the Sit-Down Belfast chairs all over towns. They are still there and waiting for you.
The United Farmers Market is offering 70+ makers offering food, home goods, jewelry, ceramics, flowers and fabrics. And more.
The full schedule of activities with times and locations is at Our town Belfast’s website
Other Featured cities in the Maine Craft Weekend partnership are Biddeford, Ellsworth, Freeport, Gardiner and Monson. Here's the link to each city and their specific events.
Have a do-it-yourself day, no matter which event you attend. And each location does their local thing. For a variety, maybe you can split the day in two different cities.
And be proud Maine. This is world class arts and crafts. And beer.
