A brand of cannabis being sold in several retail outlets around the state has been recalled.
Maine Cannabis Products at the Center of a Statewide Recall
The affected products are produced by a company called Green Trap.
Specifically, the strain named in the recalls is called Drip Burger.

The Maine Office of Cannabis Policy issued the recall on June 9, 2026, due to unsafe levels of yeast and mold in the products.
Maine Cannabis Retailers Around the State Sell the Recalled Product
Anyone with the Drip Burger adult use cannabis, bought between April 29, 2026, and June 8, 2026, should check their batch numbers.

Recalled are strains with these two batch numbers:
- DRPBRG032626
- DRPBGR032626
The 1/8-ounce flower and 1/2 ounce flower products are said to be unsafe.


Retail outlets that sell the products include:
- Rock Steady in Bangor
- Alternative Essence Oxford in Oxford
- Belvedere Farm in Rockland
- Kind Farm Reserve in Berwick
- North Country Cannabis in Lebanon
- OG Cannabis in Eliot
- The Stoned Moose in Bethel
Officials say people should check their labels.
If they find they have any of the affected products, they should return them to the store where they bought them or throw them away.
Maine Office of Cannabis Policy Says Recalled Marijuana Can Cause Health Issues
Inhaling cannabis containing unsafe levels of mold can lead to sinus issues, allergies, headaches, dizziness, or fatigue.
Anyone with these symptoms, or who's experiencing an adverse reaction, should contact a healthcare provider immediately, or call 911 if it's a medical emergency.
