
I-95 Tractor Trailer Crash in Newburgh Sends 2 to the Hospital
Two people were injured in a crash Monday morning after a tractor-trailer went off the roadway on I-95.
What's Going On?
Maine State Police say the crash happened at around 6:30 Monday morning, near mile marker 174 in Newburgh. A tractor-trailer containing two people ran off the road on the northbound side of the interstate. It went into the median, where the rig hit several trees.
The driver of the tractor-trailer and their passenger were transported to a local hospital. Both people had injuries that officials say are considered non-life-threatening. Police have not released the names of the people in the truck or what caused the truck to leave the roadway.
How Did This Affect Traffic?
Traffic was down to one lane for several hours Monday morning while crews worked to clear the scene.
