Remaining 3 Suspects in Harlow St. Shooting Turn Themselves in
The remaining 3 suspects, in connection with a shooting outside a Harlow Street nightclub, have turned themselves in.
Bangor Police Sergeant Wade Betters says the three men all had arrest warrants issued after a shooting in the parking lot of 190 Harlow Street last month.
- Horane Lawrence, 31 of Bar Harbor, turned himself in on the arrest warrant on Tuesday, 5/4, and was released after posting $200 cash bail. He's charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
- Edward Evans, 33 of Bronx, New York turned himself in on Wednesday, 5/5. Bail was set at $50,000 cash. At last report, Evans remained in jail. He's charged with elevated aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and misdemeanor assault.
- Eimel Evans, 28 of Augusta, turned himself in on Wednesday, 5/5. No bail was allowed. He's charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and misdemeanor assault.
A fourth suspect, Adrae Dixon, 36 of Bangor, was taken into custody on Tuesday and was then released after posting $560 cash bail. He's charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and with aggravated criminal mischief. Dixon is accused of shooting several shots into an occupied vehicle.
All the charges are connected to an incident outside a nightclub on Harlow Street, just after 1:00 on the morning of April 24th. Several club patrons got into an altercation, during which several shots were fired. One person sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was treated at a local hospital. Bangor Police say they used videos taken by witnesses to help identify the suspects in the shooting.
