Free Stuff + Odds & Ends about Covid 19

First this is a collection of random Covid stuff.  Not a lecture.  Not judgement. Not the Official News , if there is still such a thing.

Maine, as a state is still doing a lot better per capita at getting citizens vaccinated, and having a lower Covid case rate. Hurrah for our state.

Sam Adams, Budweiser and Miller had various promotions giving away beer if you proved it with a selfie of a vaccine card.

Miller also has a promotion where they are selling one armed T-Shirts to wear to your vaccination appointments. Clever.  And they say Almost Miller Time. Since that slogan was stolen by me for daily radio use many years ago, my eyes perked up. Shirts in 2 colors, white and blue. One has the left arm missing, one the right. Cost $10 but they are donating the proceeds to the association that helps bartenders and wait staff that have been financially stung by Covid 19. So I now have both of the shirts

Not certain if they’ll get worn, but that’s not the point.

Here’s a freebie from Staples and Office Depot and Office Max. Those chains will laminate your cards for free. Staples offer expires this Saturday. Office Depot and Office Max expires July 25^th.

Remember there will be booster stamps later, so maybe give getting a plastic sleeve to put your vaccination card into as opposed to lamination some thought.

The White House announced this week that the U.S. will begin sharing as many as 60 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine with other nations around the world.
