I love fawn season in Maine, but remind drivers to watch for them following their Moms across the road.

It's one of my favorite times of year, when the new fawns are born. I see a lot of deer on my way into work in the morning and in the evenings around Orrington, but this year there seem to be more than ever. Moms are popping up with multiple births, and gathering in groups to graze on grass. My husband, Jim, and I have managed to catch a few of them with my camera and wanted to share their beauty with you. And offer a reminder to pause for a few seconds after a doe walks across in front of your car, because she may have a fawn (or two) following along behind.
