Fatal Motorcycle Crash Closed Augusta On-Ramp

A fatal accident between a motorcycle and a truck temporarily closed an I-95 on-ramp in Augusta. That ramp is now back open.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says the accident happened this morning on the on-ramp, off Western Avenue. A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a large truck. Police have not released details of the crash or the name of the deceased.

The on-ramp has been reopened. Police continue to investigate the crash.
