An 'Easter Egg' on Facebook today will make a magic wand appear on your page and turn your words the color of the Harry Potter houses.

If you're not familiar with the term, an Easter Egg is an inside joke, often hidden in computer programs, video games, or even animated movies. Like, animated Disney movies often have Mickey Mouse ears in the animation, that are not easily noticed unless you're really looking for them.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the day Harry Potter was first introduced to readers, Facebook has a pretty cool Easter Egg. Just type in the name 'Harry Potter' or any of the names of the houses in the books, and the words will change to the color of the corresponding house. Plus a wand will appear on your screen and spread a little magic! It works when you type the words into your status or in the comments. In addition to Harry's name, you can type in HufflePuff, Slytherin, Gryffindor, or Ravenclaw. Check it out!
