East Millinocket Police Say the Woman's Vehicle Crossed the Center Line

An initial investigation into the circumstances of the crash determined that the female operator of the small sedan was traveling east when her vehicle crossed the center line into the oncoming path of the Chevy 3500 service truck, which was traveling west. The truck driver tried to avoid a head-on collision by going into the opposite lane, when the sedan corrected and hit the truck, which rolled over. Police say the sedan sustained extensive front-end damage.

This crash remains under investigation.
