It was reported last month that Chipotle Mexican Grill's system had been hacked, and now more information has been released as to what was stolen and where it was taken from.  Looks like customers of the restaurant on Stillwater Avenue in Bangor were affected as well.

The Chipotle Mexican Grill website has recently posted this:  "The investigation identified the operation of malware designed to access payment card data from cards used on point-of-sale (POS) devices at certain Chipotle restaurants between March 24, 2017 and April 18, 2017.  The malware searched for track data (which sometimes has cardholder name in addition to card number, expiration date, and internal verification code) read from the magnetic stripe of a payment card as it was being routed through the POS device."

A page on the company's website also shows the restaurants involved in the breach, and customers that used their cards at the Stillwater Avenue location in Bangor between March 27th and April 18th of this year should immediately check their credit card statements for any unusual activity.
