Police: Brewer Hit-And-Run Driver Was Intoxicated

Brewer Police say a Connecticut man involved in a hit-and-run accident was drunk and had a child in the truck.

WABI-TV reports police began searching for a pickup after it struck a car on Wilson Street and then took off.  Police finally caught up to 28-year-old Miguel Nonossi when he struck a fire hydrant at the intersection of Greenpoint and Wiswell Roads, and discovered he had a young child with him.

Nonossi faces multiple charges after police discovered that his Connecticut license is suspended. He's also charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
