Body Confirmed To Be Missing Priest

An autopsy has confirmed that it was the body of a missing priest from Caribou discovered in the woods of Lee.

85-year-old Clement Thibodeau had been missing since July. An extensive search turned up no sign of him other than a cell phone ping from the Lee area. On Saturday, a man clearing brush near Upper Pistol Lake in Lee discovered Thibodeau's Chevy Equinox, which had become stuck near a remote, unimproved road. The man contacted Wardens who found a body nearby.

The State Medical Examiner's office conducted an autopsy that positively identified the man as Pastor Thibodeau. The cause of death is not considered suspicious.
