Big Bear In Eddington Enjoys Trash Can Feast [VIDEO]

An Eddington resident got a big surprise when he found a large black bear eating out of his trash can.

Bears are waking up from hibernation and they're hungry, so Wardens are offering tips on how to avoid luring them into your yard. One of those tips is to keep trash cans tightly covered.

But even a cover on the can couldn't keep this very big bear from accessing the contents. He seems quite happy, munching away on something that was obviously very tasty. It looks like perhaps that was a can full of bird seed, which is to a bear what potato chips are to me.

I'm glad the homeowner, Chuck McKay, was able to catch the bear on video. And that he was inside when Yogi showed up.
