Life Sentence for Maine Man Who Killed his Sister and Her Husband
A Maine man received two life sentences this week for killing his sister and brother-in-law.
Glenn Brown, 68, pleaded no contest in March to the killings of 64-year-old Tina Bowden and her husband, 64-year-old Richard Bowden. The two people died of gunshot wounds in October of 2020 at their home on Bonne Terre Road in Waldo.
According to the Associated Press, police documents reveal that the three people had argued over the estate of Brown and Tina Bowden's step-father. The disagreement escalated until Brown killed the couple. Officials say each of the Bowdens was shot multiple times. Brown then went to the Belfast Police Department to report the shootings.
