A Bangor woman and a man from Connecticut have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Jay.

35-year-old Alicia Beck of Bangor is charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon. 35-year-old Arthur Cohen of Connecticut is charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

WABI-TV reports police were originally called to Otis Street at around 2:30 in the afternoon for a report of shots fired. Officers from several departments responded and found bullet holes in an apartment building. An SUV, that was seen leaving the area shortly after the shots were heard, was stopped by police on Main Street in Livermore Falls with Beck and Cohen inside. Two guns were also recovered.

The shooting is still under investigation. Beck and Cohen are being held without bail at the Franklin County Jail.
